Responsibilities/Accountabilities  

• We have an amazing opportunity for a Staffing Coordinator that can:   
• Create nursing home nursing department staffing schedules.  
• Route completed overtime slips, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Leave of Absence (LOA) requests to the Director of Nursing or appropriate supervisor for approval.    
• Contact PRN or regular staff to supplement staffing levels where necessary and make necessary changes.    
• Maintain payroll (missed punches, paid leave requests, etc.) and enter payroll for nursing department.   
• Notify Human Resources of any possible Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) absences or other extended leaves of absence.  

Experience/Skills/Education  

Required:     

• High School Diploma or GED    
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office, and Outlook  
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing at all levels of the organization. 

Preferred:   

• Minimum one year experience with staffing, and/or scheduling   
• Experience ADP (payroll system) and OnShift (scheduling system)
